How to Measure
In order to select the correct sizing, we recommend you take the following measurements using a soft tape measure. If necessary, ask someone else to help.
Waist
Measure around the narrowest part of your torso, usually just above your belly button. Keep the tape snug and level, but not tight. The number where it meets is your waist measurement.
Hip
Stand with your feet together and measure around the fullest part of your hips and buttocks. Keep the tape level and snug, but not tight. The number where it meets is your hip measurement.

The shorts themselves fit wonderfully and I love the coverage. More importantly I am blown away by how easy it was to navigate a replacement in the correct size. This was my first order from Knix and I’ve recently lost quite a bit of weight so picking a size was a challenge from a comfort standpoint. I would say it’s true to size but notably different from other brands is the waist band is not overly tight compared to the rest of the garment, I don’t feel pinched or uncomfortable even when bloated.

I was a bit hesitant for several reasons. I was worried if they really would work as described and have no leakage and I was also quite worried about putting them in the washing machine and whether any damage would be done or staining of other items. I did plenty of research and at first started slow by buying one daytime pair and one nighttime pair just to test effectiveness, comfort, etc. I loved them. No more worrying if I have a tampon in my purse or whether it is the right absorbency for what I need. I track my cycle and know what days I need to wear these. I’m also very impressed with how absorbent they are and how many tampon equivalent amounts they can hold. This allows me to sleep through the night or not have to step out of work worried my tampon may have leaked. I will say they are a bit pricey if you plan to buy everything you would need for a whole week’s menstruation, but I would say I purchased enough nighttime and daytime styles over the course of two cycles by using bundling or discount codes, etc. and now I no longer need to purchase any products from the pharmacy or find out that I’ve run out of product exactly when I need it. I know these will always be in my drawer and I’m very happy that I have them. I wish these were around when I was a teen because this must be so convenient for them as well as providing added confidence that they are well protected. I just wish I bought these sooner!
