Knix and Carriage House Birth present Life After Birth: Portraits of Love and the Beauty of Parenthood. Published by Rizzoli, the book presents an entirely new perspective on the postpartum experience, drawing on the collective stories of everyday people and notable celebrities, including Amy Schumer, Rocky Barnes, Gabrielle Union-Wade, Eva Longoria, Bozoma Saint John, Kristen Bell, and more. Including a special forward from Knix Global Brand Ambassador, Ashley Graham.

Our Mission

We launched the Life After Birth Project in August 2019 with a photo exhibition in New York, Los Angeles, Toronto and Vancouver featuring the postpartum images and stories of over 750 birthing people. The project continues to tackle the societal taboos around the birthing experience by celebrating everything that comes with parenthood.
