Smoothing but not shapewear
Despite the snug fit I found this to be loose in the butt area and at the same time slimming but not Spanx-level shapewear. Knix exchange policy is fantastic and hoping with a size down in the thong option will give me the fit I was hoping for 🤞🏼

Shapely, but not versatile
I got this shaper to go to a wedding, and once I squeezed into it , I felt very classy. I originally purchased my normal size, as per the listed size charts provided by Knix. I ended up returning it for one size up, which fit me better. When I talked to the Knix lady she said that you should always purchase a size larger in shape wear….who knew, not me! It is not listed in the description recommendations. Well off to the wedding and dancing up a storm, and my shape wear is starting to ride up my rear. This is the only real draw back with not getting the long short version….. buy the long short version is my recommendation. I don’t think the amount I saved buying this version is worth the discomfort. I won’t wear it to a wedding again, it would have to be a very non active event.

Bring back the old style
I was disappointed that this fits differently than the old style. The old one did a really good job at smoothing out back fat, but this new style doesn’t do as good a job.

Good support
I have mixed feelings about this item. The support is definitely there. The material is silky soft and lively against the skin.
Maybe it’s my dimensions which are curvy, but the bra part is much too tight while the bottom part is completely appropriate for my size. I really need a size up for the bra for this to be perfectly fitted. I haven’t had an opportunity to wear it to get it adapted to my body so I’m hoping it will adjust with wear.
Also, it’s really hard to go to the bathroom. Resnapping the gusset while trying to not to lose my grip on the two parts was a huge challenge. I had to eventually pull the whole thing down and then wrestle myself back into it afterwards.
I want to love it but just can’t get there

I have tried every shaper bodysuit Knix has offered and this for me so far is the best!
It really snatches you in. I haven't had to cut out the back for anything as yet but on it's own it's perfection too.

Funny story…
First, love this bodysuit. Does exactly what I need it to, and turns out to be surprisingly comfortable. But… when putting it on, take your time and be confident in your grip. I had worked the bodysuit all the way up past the - shall we say - topography, and was adjusting the bits & bobs when my hand slipped off the edge of the neckline of the suit and I very accurately punched myself right in the face. Fortunately, no bloody nose or black eyes ensued - just a slightly bruised ego and a fun story to share with the other ladies attending the event I was getting ready for.

Huge difference after washing
Fit perfectly under my dress when I tried it on in the store. Looked seamless, wasn’t bunching up or slipping. Fit perfectly around my chest, back and armpit area hugged my hips but didn’t make any dents. Was really happy with it. Wore it to an event under the same dress and it was great the whole night. I went home and washed it ,followed their instructions for washing and drying exactly. Went and put it on for another event a week later and was shocked at the difference. All the support in the side boob area was nearly gone, chest was still supported but significantly less. The bottom was now making dents in my hip area, the opening to put the pads in tore when I went to re adjust them. It was constantly slipping down my back and bunching at my waist even when I tightened the straps. It would just pull the front up and the back would slip even more.
I still had to wear it for that event and when I got home and washed it another time it got even worse. No more support for my chest, was way looser everywhere and now you can even see where the “band” for the chest support is because all the other fabric around it has lost its shape.
Pretty frustrated with it but they did give me my money back due to the tear. I still went and tried on a smaller size after all of this but the side area by the armpits and in the back were just too low and it fit oddly in other areas. I can’t spend that kind of money on something that doesn’t fit well just to hope that it’ll fit better after…
